With 2012 nearing its end, it’s time to talk about dental insurance policies and flexible spending or health savings accounts.  Most insurance policies and HSA or FSA accounts will expire at the end of the year, and any remaining benefits or dollars will be lost for good.  If you have outstanding treatment or are in need of professional cleaning or exam, now may be the most opportune time.

We work closely with our patients to maximize their benefits, and most importantly, restore and maintain their dental health.  Depending on the circumstances, we can sometimes split treatment between December and January, allowing patients to fully utilize their policies before and after they renew.  Furthermore, FSA and HSA accounts can be carefully planned to finance treatment in the new year, allowing patients to use pre-tax dollars on their dental care.

As a cosmetic and restorative dental practice, we understand that many of the services we offer are elective.  If you’re interested in elective procedures such as porcelain veneers, Invisalign, or teeth whitening, insurance will not apply, but you will still be able to use your HSA/FSA accounts.  We also offer interest-free private financing with flexible terms for many of the cosmetic dental treatments we provide. Our goal is to accommodate our patient’s needs from each and every standpoint, so they not only receive top-notch cosmetic and restorative dental care but feel pampered through the entire process.

If you’re interested in visiting us for cosmetic, restorative, or general dental services, and would like us to assess your current insurance and FSA/HSA status, we’d be happy to help.  Contact Amy DeLassus for further information, and to reserve a visit before the year’s end.  The fall season is flying by and 2013 will be here before we know it.  Don’t wait too long, your smile is counting on you!
